A Taste of Japan
A tiny space outside a ground floor flat in a converted school was transformed into a secluded, sunken seating area. By using a living bamboo screen and a hurdle type screening form Garden TrellisCo, an intimate area was created. Stone was chosen to complement the building colour. The planting (Umbrella pine, acer and ferns) remind the client of happy times spent in Japan.
